There are multiple desert locations on the Earth. They're located in, almost every continent except Antartica. Some of the major deserts are called; North American, Atacama, Patagonian, Saharan, Iranian, Turkestan, Takta Makan-Gubi, Ihar, Arabian, Namib, Kalahari, Australian desert.


The climate of hot and dry desert is generally warm throughout the year and the winters bring little rainfall. Many annual temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius. The extreme maximum ranges from 43.5 degrees Celsius to 49 degrees Celsius. The cold desert has cold winters and even snowfall! It also has a lot of rain in the warm summers. In winter the temperature ranges from -2 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius. The summer temperatures range from 21 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius. The coastal desert has cool winters and moderately warm summers. The summer average temperature ranges from 13 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius. The winters average temperature is 5 degrees Celsius and below. The rainfall ranges from 8cm to 13cm.
